Quality of Life Indicator September Volunteer Activities

QLI volunteers were busier than ever in the month of September! Here are just a few activities that took place upon release of the 2009 Quality of Life Indicators Report…

THE PRESS CONFERENCE

Thanks to the fine folks at the Fine Arts Center for providing a beautiful location to hold the Press Conference announcing publication of the 2009 Report.

As you can see, the room was filled with smiling faces, including Blaire from the BBB of Southern Colorado and Faye from Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs. Also in attendance were members of the press, community leaders, Vision Council members and many others committed to the Pikes Peak Region.

THE VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

Thanks to Bill Pattee and Toby Gannett at the Palisades for holding the QLI and Dream City Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. It was such a generous gift and a very nice way to say “thanks” to those who dedicated so much time and energy in support of our community.

Next up, we’ll check in with our Speakers Bureau Volunteers and learn more about the programs they’re presenting to organizations around the community!
