2009 PIKES PEAK QUALITY OF LIFE INDICATORS REPORT TO BE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 15
The third annual Pikes Peak Quality of Life Indicators Report will be released to the public in a roll-out event on Tuesday, September 15, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, 30 W. Dale St.
Members of the media and the general public are encouraged to attend.
The QLI report is a compilation of statistics which, when taken as trends over time, indicate areas where the region is doing well and where it needs to improve. This year’s report identifies five positive trends and 16 areas of opportunity across nine key areas: Arts and Recreation, Education, Safety, Community Engagement, Environment, Social Wellbeing, Economy, and Health and Transportation.
Get copies of previous reports here. A live link to the 2009 report will be available September 15th.
Community members involved in compiling the report will attend the roll-out event and will be available to answer questions. Please check the QLI blog at www.pikespeakqualityoflife.org for updates.
RSVP is not necessary, but media may call the Leadership Pikes Peak offices at 719-632-2618 with questions.
